so today was my weekly lunch with grandma and grandpa. my cousin (she is their caretaker) had to run a few errands so i stayed while she ran around town. after making sure lacy had really left grandma leans over and says...
grandma: "i'm going to tell you something i'm sure you won't believe, but i promise it is true."
me: "you have my attention now, what is it?"
grandma: "today i saw a cat change his coat"
me: a little confused... "you saw what???????"
grandma: "yup, the little yellow cat that is in the house all time just laid on his back, right there on my couch, reached up and UNZIPPED his fur coat. took his arms and feet out of it and handed it to his little black friend and they SWITCHED coats."
me: "your right grandma, i don't believe you."
grandma: "i promise, i saw it."
me: "okay, grandma, i believe that YOU saw it, but think rationally... do you think a cat can really unzip his coat and exchange it with a friend????"
grandma: "i wouldn't have if i didn't see it for myself"
OH FOR THE LOVE!!!!!

That is SO hilarious!!! What a grandma!
Sometimes seeing really is believing. Just go with it, she is probably thinking you are crazy for not believing her.
That is so funny. What a cute grandma.
Well, they say there's more than one way to skin a cat. I guess we could add this to the list. POOR GMA.
So funny, yet so sad! I pray I go before my mind does. ;)
Thanks for giving me a great idea for my next children's book.
i love it, she would be fun to meet!
