flash back friday

it's been awhile since my last flash back, but i found this picture in my cupboard this week and had to share!!!

this is great grandpa ralph (jeff's grandpa-82yrs) with hunter(8months). we've made a tradition of one big camping trip every year with jeff's family. the kids run, play, get dirty, and have a hay day while the adults sit and chat and, if murray can talk us into it, hike. this year we camped at granite flats in af canyon. hunter was loving all the attention from grandpa and thought it was even better that he let him have his water bottle. hunter has always had a special bond with ALL his grandpas (and he is blessed to have most of them really close and always happy to spoil him). we love you grandpa ralph and thank you for making the trip up (even though we know you hate this valley!!!), sleeping in a tent on the ground (even though you were 82), and not complaining about it! we love spending the time with you and i'm so glad my kids will have memories of their great grandpa!
