he's 3!!!

my baby boy is 3 today. THREE!!! i can't believe he's getting so big. he's killing me lately with the mood swings. i was hoping he was just trying to finish out the terrible 2's in style, but i'm afraid it isn't going to end anytime soon. he can turn any emotion on and off like a light switch. he is such a mama's boy, until daddy walks in the door. speaking of doors... he HAS to answer the door if anyone comes to it. that includes me running out to the car to grab something... i have to knock and wait for him to open it for me or he throws a complete temper tantrum. he loves his grandmas and grandpas and begs to go visit them. he is very in thomas the train and cars (the movie). the only think he really asked for his birthday was 'chick hicks' - the green car from cars. when i asked him what kind of cake he wanted for his birthday he told me NO CAKE! just cinnamon rolls (a boy after my own heart). attitude aside he is my best buddy. i can't imagine life without him. he brings me many more smiles than tears and i love the little man he is becoming!
