so to answer the question... no, i did NOT make either of my kids costumes this year. i went on strike! and why spend the time, $$$, and sanity on a halloween costume when you can buy them from walmart and old navy at such a great price??? most likely, i will go back to my old ways next year and make them myself... but no promises!
we started the day at kamryn's kindergarten class. then headed to grandma kathy's work to trick or treat. we met the cousins at home depot to visit george, and then headed to grandma jacki's work so she could show her grandkids off. it was a VERY busy day and we didn't hit all the places we had planned, but by halloween night i was beat and ready to beat a few kids... not really... well...

They look so cute!! I got the same pirate costume for Chase, but he refused to wear it!!
