potty training... need i say more? hunter has finally figured out pooping on the potty, but now we can't get him off the potty. he grunts, he groans, he cheers when it finally happens, but then he stays on the potty until i drag him off kicking and screaming! this morning was the worst. he pooped in the first 2 minutes and then sat there for another 25 minutes (this is not an exaggeration!) grunting and groaning. how do you teach them that they don't HAVE to poop every time they sit on the toilet. a few times he's been pushing so hard i'm afraid he's going to hurt himself. is this normal??????
oh, and then to add to the funny potty issues at our house...
kamryn: "has hunter had been eating too much deer lately?"
me: "why????"
kamryn: "oh, just cause his poop looks like deer poop. i think you should stop feeding it to him for a while! maybe that would fix it."
oh... the joys of potty training and the joys of potty training with a 5yr old assistant coach.

Maybe she's right. Maybe you should stop feeding him deer, did you ever think of that? {[tee hee}] Good luck with the potty training, let's hope he comes away without hemorrhoids.
That is hilarious. My kids wouldn't even know it was POSSIBLE to eat deer... :)
CAN YOU IMAGINE how cleaned out you'd be if you DID poop every time? Hmmmm....ponder that one!
