today was our very first day of swim lessons. yes, that goes for all 3 of us (me, kamryn, and hunter). the only swim "lesson" i received as a child was my dad throwing me in the pool in mesquite, nv and i was so excited i didn't drown! our first experience was quite a good one! kamryn and kendyl were in the same class and 5 minutes after they were done it was hunter and ryker's turn in the mom and me class. three of the 4 kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves. kendyl has been a little emotional since her run in with the truck... but other than a bawling the entire time i think she had fun... NOT!!!

entertaining the 2 little ones while kamryn and kendyl were in the pool was a little difficult. they were bored as can be watching the other kids swim, but with a little imagination, a cone and tiffany's sunglasses anything is possible.
kamryn was the only one in her class that stuck her whole head under water and she is VERY proud of herself. i finally had to tell her it isn't polite to brag (i'm so sick of hearing... "mom- aren't you so proud of me for being the only one in my class to stick my head under the water?" and "what do i get for being so good in my swim lesson?" - as you can see, i'm all about bribes! she just doesn't understand the bribe is presented BEFORE the action not after!!!!)
we had so much fun and can't wait to go back tomorrow!

Aww. I love swimming lessons! Is that just at AF rec? We need to sign up for this year.
