i know i have a bit of craziness that runs in my family. and today i feel it coming out in me. so today i'm joining my friends pity party and i'm going to bitch and moan to all of you who don't stop reading this very instant!
i love my kids but today i feel like locking myself in my bedroom, putting my husbands ipod in my ears, blasting anything that will tune them out and read my book. usually if i just get myself out of bed, shower and get ready i feel so much better. today is the first day since we got back from vacation that my makeup has been touched or that a comb has hit my head (yes- having short hair is great for that, but really??? 4 days might be a little too long to go with out a comb). and i still feel like poop!!!! i want to cry! why? who knows? maybe because i'm sick of potty training. maybe it's because i'm sick of my 5yr old acting like she's entitled to a 16yr old's attitude. or maybe because i'm sick of laundry yelling to me that it needs to be done. i hate coming home from vacation!!! especially a vacation that had no drama and a built in babysitter that can't get enough of my kids.
so today i'm so thankful that my friend sandra called me to come work for her. and i'm thankful i have a babysitter that my kids beg for! maybe a good dose of luscious material, funny old ladies, and 12yr old babysitter will cure my craziness!!! well, that and a 64oz diet pepsi and kingsize take5 i'm headed to get right now!

I HATE DAYS LIKE THIS! Wish I were there and could just bring over a gallon of ice cream and we could let our kids run totally wild together...

NOW...you know why your mom is crazy! think of having 3 of your own and tending 7 other kids, too, everyday! do i get any brownie points?
yes, mom- you get brownie points out the wazzoo and also a metal and some brownies... at least i know where the crazy comes from!!!!
i didn't know that you were to THAT point the other day. i would've taken the little critters home with me. i'm glad that you got to go to the quilt store and get away for a little bit. i have that same crazy gene so i understand perfectly what you are saying.:)
I hope the cottage helped out! I'm sure it would me. We all have those crazy days. Sometimes they are more frequent than others!
