i took kamryn in today for a ua to see if she really had another infection. sure enough. it just goes to show even if everyone in the doctor's office thinks your a crazy hypochondriac, trust your mother's instinct! its there for a reason. anywho.... because the ua was positive that means no testing on my baby girl tomorrow (sigh- of relief and frustration). how in the world do they expect to find out what is wrong with her if she has to be infection free and off antibiotics for more than 10 days? we can't make it a week off antibiotics let alone 10 days... i'm getting frustrated and wondering what in the world we are going to do. at least i have a wonderful doctor that isn't afraid to tell me he isn't sure what to do with her, but he'll call around to some specialists and see what they think needs to happen. i love my doc! he's definitely worth any wait! i am still a little bummed he no longer delivers babies, but that's another story.

Have they checked her for Vesicoureteral Reflux? That is what Livvie had. She was on antibiotics non-stop until they could fix the problem. Are they going to do the VCUG test? That is how they diagnosed Livvie up at Primary Children's Hospital. Hope she gets feeling better. Let us know what turns out and if we can help in any way.

Haley,
One more thing. Our pediatrician had one of his his own children have vesicoureteral reflux and he referred us to Dr. Brent Snow up at Primary Children's Hospital. Dr. Snow is one of the best, in not the best, pediatric urologists in the Western United States.
I would ask your doctor about referring you to Dr. Snow. He was amazing with Livvie. Call Meg or I if you have any questions.
