not for me... unfortunately!!! and i'm hoping jeff won't keep his promise...

no, the nursery set is NOT for me. it was ordered by an old friend for her FIRST boy. but i do have to say even though i'm sad i didn't get to keep it (cause i must say it turned out darling!!!!) i'm always happy to make fun stuff for people who truly appreciate custom handmade stuff! i actually think she may have been more excited than me when i delivered it today. she promised me LOTS of pictures as soon as she gets it all set up. her baby is due in 3 1/2 weeks so it should be SOON!!!

for those of you that know my husband and his "concern" for my mental well being have probably already heard that he has threatened to leave me if i ever attempt another wedding dress (the last one had me in tears and i broke out with a million cold sores from the stress). and i know i swore to many of you that i would never make another wedding dress... well my cute cousin gretchen is getting married and when her mom asked i just couldn't say no... but i did give some instructions!!!! i told her i would NOT make up the pattern. she had to supply me with EVERY pattern piece - no exceptions!!! i'm just starting on it this week and i'm actually really excited. i have plenty of time to make my prototype, alter, and make the real thing. the dress she wants is beautiful and to tell you the truth she would look good in a black garbage bag so even if i do screw up... she'll still look beautiful (but i promise gretchen, i don't plan on screwing up!!!) and how can i pass up free quilting when i have the material all purchased for about a dozen of my own quilts... i love trade work!!!!

oh, and 5kids are a breeze if you have a beautiful day and a swing set!!! pray for more good weather!!!!
