i love reading about every one's christmas traditions. here are a few of ours. most are probably the same as every other joeschmoes... but we enjoy them.
1... we wrap all our christmas books and the kids get to unwrap one every night starting december 1st. we unwrap a "christmas story" christmas eve (most years it's been the precious moments nativity story).
2... i make the kids christmas jammies. if they are "christmas"-ie then they get them the first day of christmas. if they aren't... they open them christmas eve.
3... life savor story books in the stockings
4... some kind of tool in jeff's stocking, crayons in the kids stockings, and some sewing gadget for me
5... a new ornament
6... to be done "christmas shopping" by thanks giving so i don't have to stress over the holidays.
7... food, food, and more food
8... homemade hot chocolate all winter long! i have a killer recipe if anyone wants it let me know.

i had never heard of that wrapping the books thing and denise did that for us for christmas. she brought us a bunch of wrapped books...one of my favorite presents! were you here the other day when i was saying she thinks she doesn't have any talents??!!
