dear mom,
i know you are getting frustrated with all us kids keeping tabs on you... DEAL WITH IT!!! if you would just answer your phone (take it off vibrate!) we wouldn't have to call out the cavalry to look for you. i totally feel like a mother with a rebellious teenage daughter. take your phone with you and answer it... that's all! it doesn't take too much effort and it gives all us kids (and dad) a little peace of mind. we love you. we are just making sure you are safe and healthy and still breathing. i know you were just at lunch and couldn't hear your phone... at least i know that NOW, but 30 minutes ago i was freaking out thinking i was calling your house and your phone and you just COULDN'T answer it. so forgive me for calling your work, your best friend (and thanks for having such a great friend that i don't feel dumb calling her to check on you!), mel, tiffany, and work again. i was only concerned... (wow, i so sound like you and dad 10+ years ago, SCARY!). i'm glad you are okay... just DON'T EVER DO THAT TO US AGAIN!!!!! love you!

i'm posting this because in so many years, if i am ever in my mom's position, i can see where my kids are coming from and know that they just love and care about me and they are NOT trying to put me in the luney bin!!!!
