this is just a random quilt that i put together last month. my sweet aunt quilted it for me and i got it all bound up this weekend. it is the softest quilt ever. i find myself having to fight with kamryn over it...
here is my christmas quilt that i'm in love with! after putting it on my bed i decided i need to decorate my drab wood paneled room with bright and funky colors... and then you don't notice (as much) how ugly it is! and check out the scalloped edge... my first! and the pillows are actually the kids, but they look better on my bed than theirs!
my good friend cami and her husband had a big cousin's christmas party last weekend. she was on the look out for ugly sweaters and instead of buying them, we decided to make 'em. i must say... i'm very proud of my leg lamp! it even lit up!! and... it took first place!!! this was, hands down, the funnest christmas project i've done this year.
and last but certainly not least is another project cami and i did. i had an extra suitcase and she decided she wanted it for her little mary (who is obsessed with little plastic animals). so we started it last night... we rummaged through all my scrapbook stuff and her wooden finds from roberts and we got it started... and then tonight we let my kids run crazy and we finished it while jeff was out plowing the roads. i'm in love with the barn... it is so stinkin' cute!!! thanks cami for letting me help out. if mary doesn't like it... bring it back cause hunter was LOVING it!!!

Thank-you Thank-you Thank-you!!!
It turned out so cute!!! LOVE IT! Your the best!
Does your aunt have a big quilter? If so what would she charge for my two twin quilts? I found a mom at Carson's preschool who would do it for $50-60 each but I've never seen her work. I love it when you post your projects. You are so creative...it makes me feel so inferior. Have a wonderful Christmas!
The suitcase is darling! What a great idea. I am now on the lookout for old vintage suitcases. Love it!
