hunter has never been a good sleeper. i'm pretty sure i could count on my fingers and toes how many times he has slept through the night since we brought him home from the hospital. he either wakes up in a panic from a night terror or he joins jeff and me in our bed. i don't sleep well with 3 in our bed and i'm pretty sure jeff doesn't either. so, to spare the 3am freak out of putting him back in bed i've started putting him on the love seat and he's fine with that as long as i crash on the couch. i sleep much better snuggled up on the couch with just me than i do with 3 in our queen bed. so, this is now my domain! jeff keeps insisting that he'll trade me and let me have the bed... but not once has he made good on that promise when hunter graces us with his presence! all is well, at least i'm able to sleep again. and today i am dealing with a very tired child with no nap all for the HOPE of a good night sleep in my own bed. we'll see....

Ugh! Carson was the exact same way. Just before Landon was born (so he was almost 3) we started putting him back into bed every time he got up. It took a good two months of screaming and crying (from him and me) before he slept in his own bed. I swear I almost lost my mind from lack of sleep. If we hadn't had another baby on the way he would probably still be sleeping with us. At least you found something that works for you. Good luck!
