back in high school i was introduced to a girl from another school. our boyfriends had been best friends since kindergarten and we HAD to be friends by default. i only hung out with her when we doubled dated. i didn't really care for her in one way or another. she didn't talk much and i never thought we'd have anything in common (hello! she was 2 whole years younger than me!!!). a few years later we both ended up marrying those boy friends and now, 10+ years, she is one of my dearest friends. i can tell her all my secrets and i know she'll never judge me. i trust her to babysit my kids... and i don't leave them with just anyone!!!! we have the same interests. are kids are about the same age. she is one of my few life lines when the kids are driving me crazy. i talk to her daily (and if i don't i have withdrawals!) and i don't know what i'd do if i didn't have her in my life! kenz, thanks for being my default friend! i couldn't ask for a better one! so here is your happy birthday present... just a little late... but you know that's how i roll!
