snow day

yesterday turned out to be a pretty good day. my bed finally did get made -with clean sheets and all- and climbing into clean sheets is about as close to heaven as it gets! the kids played in the snow for almost 2 hours with out fighting once! i didn't have to make dinner because jeff went to the jazz game with his friend- so marshmallow maties was as fancy as we got. the 3 of us snuggled and watched iceage for the millionth time. both the kids fell asleep on the couch before 8:30. after carrying the kids to bed i snuggled into my clean sheets, read my book and waited for jeff to home from the game.

i had to post this picture to show ya'll the determination this kids has. he is trying with all his might to roll a snow ball that probably is double his own weight. he didn't give up until he was able to roll it about a foot (kamryn helped- but don't tell him!)
