kamryn survived her first day of kindergarten (and so did i... after a few shed tears).
the conversation we had on the way home...
me: did you make any new friends?
k: no.
me: you didn't?
k: no.
me: who did you play with at recess?
k: some girls in my class.
me: so aren't they your friends?
k: no, i don't even know their names, yet, mom!
me: were they nice?
k: yes, i'll find out their names tomorrow so they can be my friends.
if only i worried as little as she does, and made friends as easily as just asking a name.
kamryn was totally oblivious to the fact that i was waiting for her outside the classroom when school got out... check out the stylin' jacket tied around her neck!
