after so much guilt for not having my years worth of food storage i decided it was time for me to learn how to bottle. tiffany (my sil) came over with her 2 kiddos and we went to work. kendyl, kamryn, and hunter spent the morning out back playing on the swing set and playing with jax. ryker took a good nap and allowed tif and i to get a lot done! i think we bottled just under 50 jars of apricot jam. now i know you are all wondering how in the world we did it with 4 kids 'helping'...

oh, and the promise of fruit loop neclaces if the whining and fighting was kept to minimun helped as well!
i'm feeling very domestic... hopefully i'll be able to get the plums done this week... we'll see!

I got 24 jars of apricot jam done... I'm glad we both decided to learn to can this year!
