we spent the week of the 24th down in fairview. my parents bought a couple acres up there a couple years back and have put in endless hours improving it. my kids love spending the time down there with the cousins and grandma and papa.
even hunter's temper tantrums don't last long. i shooed a mosquito away from his forehead and he freaked out. see how fast he can go from dr. jekle to mr. hyde?

we celebrated siona's birthday while we were there. the kids were way excited about the monstrous cup cakes mel brought. of course, hunter just ate the icing off the top and was done... kamryn devoured the entire cup cake!
cheyne brought down a friend and she happened to have a pair of boxing gloves with her. why??? so she could show us all how she can kick cheyne's butt... and she did! but the kids also had a great time playing with them. hunter would throw a punch and fall over because they were so heavy. he thought they were pretty cool.
the last night it was just my little fam down there with my brother cheyne. the kids adore cheyne and can talk him into doing anything for them. kamryn wanted a fire to roast her mellows over. so look who is starting the fire!!!
and here is me with my jeff. he didn't feel so hot during this trip. but he was still a sport and came out to play.

What a fun time to get together with family...I am definitely going to miss that when school starts and summer is over. I love seeing so many families together!
