my flash back today is of those long ago days when i was skinny, pre-acne, awkward... oh how i wish i could return to those glory days... but then i think of all that i have now, along with the layer of "extra weight" (we won't call it fat... "extra" is usually a good thing, right? so humor me for the day and go with "extra weight") i have a fantabulous family. a little princess of a daughter that needs a new leotard because she wears the same one EVERYDAY (that is not an exaggeration), a little monkey of son who has a scabber on his chin from this mornings climbing activity (don't ask), and a husband that is so extremely handsome and has some major sex appeal. i caught a lady at parkers (local mom and pops fast food joint) totally checking him out as he explained to my little ones why we didn't need any candy out of the little quarter machine and then turning crying into a game of "can you find the purple skittle in the jar".... "what about the orange mike & ike"... "and the red skittle?"- i'm pretty sure she knew she was caught cause the rest of the time we were in there she wouldn't take her eyes off the floor. HA! he's mine and nobody else can have him!!!!
so, today i post a picture of my past and my present. one of what i miss...(sad that i have to go clear back to my sophomore year of highschool)
and one of what i wouldn't miss for the world...

Are you kidding?? You are amazing! You look amazing, you write amazing, and look at all your awesome talents that you have gained over the years! I would have to say life now has much more to LOVE!! :) Besides, we have blogs now-- that = L.O.V.E. Bet that wasn't around in high school!! :) jk!!
